It is so important that as our clients grow older, we encourage them to maintain their independence through working on their confidence and ability to get up from the floor.
In the world of falls prevention (another story), we often see our clients become fearful of falling and then unable to get up off the floor. It can then become a vicious circle, where they do not want to get onto the floor and then they become unable to use the muscles that enable them to rise.
By attending Shero classes regularly, we work on keeping clients safe on the floor and help to build those muscles that are needed to help them to get down to, and up off the floor.
Rise up aims to safely but confidently move your clients into a standing position whilst filling them with positive affirmations to let them leave the session with a clear mindset and feeling great about themselves.
