iCareiMove delivers life-changing health and wellbeing services designed to support ageing, menopause, and functional movement. Whether in the workplace, at home, or in the community, we empower people to stay active, independent, and thriving.
Our falls prevention service and courses help older adults regain confidence, improve strength, balance and mobility, and reduce the risk of falls. Through expert-led sessions, we provide the knowledge and exercises needed to keep our participants steady on their feet and living life to the fullest. Our evidence-based methodology successfully works not only in person but using technology too. Our method crosses sectors and is seen in care settings, day centres and on the transition onwards after a stay in hospital.
iCareiMove’s Move More structure is famously seen in communities throughout Cornwall and beyond for those who have fallen, are at risk of, or afraid of falling. Confidence building is at the heart of this service and the testimonials reinforce time and time again how impactful growing in confidence can be on someone’s life.
Supporting the older population brings unexpected joy. The process of gaining knowledge and upskilling is both rewarding and valuable, as highlighted in our case studies. We offer various training programmes for volunteers who want to better understand and support older adults in a variety of settings.
Training extends to Instructors and those wishing to deliver the Move More programme under our supervision. Recognising that there is a flexibility around the training so that you get the most out of the experience both personally and professionally. We have a series of video content for you to use which follows the methodology that brings such independence, joy and happiness to our wonderful older population.
You will gain practical skills to dovetail into everyday activities and will be guided by our team of ageing experts so that you feel confident to work with this wonderful population.
