Expert‑led information, community support, and practical guidance for people living with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
COPD is a long-term condition that affects breathing and everyday activity. With the right support, those living with COPD maintain their independence and enjoy a good quality of life. Our work focuses on reducing health inequalities and ensuring individuals living with COPD have access to the tools, knowledge, and community connections they need to manage their COPD with confidence.
iCareiMove delivers an NHS-funded COPD programme through a co-production approach, working in partnership with patients, families, clinicians, and VCSE organisations. This ensures the service is shaped by those it supports and is closely aligned with the needs of the community.
“Supporting communities is at the core of everything we do. In 2005, we founded the award-winning Eden Walking Group and what began as a simple idea grew into a lasting community movement, showing the power of people coming together.
That experience continues to shape our work today. We are deeply committed to supporting people living with chronic health conditions; listening, learning, and building services with the community, not for it. Through peer support, movement, and everyday encouragement, we walk alongside those who need us.”
