Our Falls Prevention Programmes

Our falls prevention programmes are designed to provide the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to reduce the risk of falling and maintain independence. Move More is a structured 25-week programme offering expert-led exercise and education, helping older adults improve stability and mobility in a supportive group setting.

Alongside this, our IMPACT Events deliver interactive workshops and awareness sessions to educate individuals, carers, and professionals on effective falls prevention strategies. By addressing both movement and mindset, our programmes empower participants to regain confidence, stay steady on their feet, and continue enjoying an active lifestyle.

Strength, Balance & Confidence

Move More

Move More is iCareiMove’s 25-week falls prevention exercise programme designed to help older adults improve strength, stability, and overall mobility. Move More follows the Falls Management and Exercise (FaME) model of progressive weekly 60-minute sessions, supported by a wide range of resources to support a further 60-minutes of homework practice per week, totalling 50 hours of delivery time.

Led by trained professionals, the programme combines exercise with  practical education. Participants gain the confidence to move safely and learn techniques to safely get onto the floor and back up again independently. Sessions can be delivered either face-to-face or digitally via Zoom.

IMPACT Events

IMPACT Events are interactive workshops designed to educate individuals, carers, and professionals on the importance of falls prevention. These engaging sessions provide practical strategies, movement demonstrations, functional fitness MOTs and expert-led insights to help reduce fall risks and promote safer, more active lifestyles.

By raising awareness of falls prevention and offering hands-on guidance, IMPACT Events help communities to take proactive steps to prevent falls and maintain independence.
