What is the Move More Instructor Course?

Move More is iCareiMove’s 25-week falls prevention exercise programme designed to help older adults improve strength, stability, and overall mobility whilst preventing or reducing falls. Move More delivery follows the evidence-based Falls Management and Exercise (FaME) model of progressive weekly 60-minute sessions.

The Move More Instructor Course trains professionals (minimum Level 2 Fitness Qualification) to deliver the structured falls prevention programmes. Designed to equip instructors with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, this course ensures you can confidently guide participants through the programme, empowering them to stay active and independent.

Today was amazing and memorable. The participants were buzzing at the end of the session and so were me and Mel. Coming home in the car gave me the opportunity to reflect and realise how lucky we are to share that with these wonderful people.
