Innovative two-year Programme to deliver tailored health education for women in the Armed Forces.
iCareiMove (part of the Future Fit Group) and Cornwall Rural Community Charity (CRCC) are proud to announce they have been awarded government funding through the “Seen and Heard” initiative, to launch Service and Strength – a groundbreaking health education programme specifically designed for women serving in the armed forces.
The two-year project, running from November 2025 to October 2027, will deliver co-designed empowering health education and support addressing the unique needs of service women, with a particular focus on peri- and post-menopause health. The programme aims to provide a voice and enhance the wellbeing of women serving in the armed forces and their support networks, reaching a minimum of 1200 beneficiaries per year.
“This award shines a spotlight on the urgent need for tailored health support for women serving our country. By co-designing this programme with servicewomen and leveraging our expertise, we’re creating something that truly works for them.”

The Service and Strength programme will offer the following to support:
iCareiMove will lead programme delivery, building on their existing expertise in women’s health education while developing new content specifically tailored to the military context.
The programme addresses a significant gap in education and support for women in the armed forces, recognising that they face unique challenges and may have limited access to specialist women’s health information and peer support, particularly when deployed or stationed in remote locations.
By combining in-person, online, and on-demand resources, Service and Strength ensures that wherever servicewomen are stationed, they can access the education and support they need at a time they need it.
