Developed in partnership with Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, ReNeu is a 12-week digital recovery programme supporting people through the critical weeks following a stroke diagnosis.
Launching 8th May 2026, ReNeu brings together NHS physiotherapy expertise and a strong clinical evidence base; delivered entirely online, so geography, travel, and mobility are never a barrier to recovery. Referrals and self-referrals for the first cohort are now open
“Stroke can be a profoundly isolating experience, and the weeks that follow a diagnosis are critical. ReNeu was built to bridge the gap between clinical care and community, to give people the structure, support, and human connection they need to move forward with confidence. We are incredibly proud of what we have created together with our NHS colleagues, and of the difference we know this programme can make.“
Helen Tite, Founder, iCareiMove
ReNeu combines weekly live sessions with digital learning resources and peer support, each week targeting a specific aspect of recovery; from functional movement and building physical confidence, to managing fatigue and long-term wellbeing.
Unlike self-guided digital tools, sessions are delivered live by qualified instructors, ensuring real-time encouragement, safety guidance, and individual adaptation. Participants progress as a cohort, forming genuine peer relationships with others on a shared recovery journey.
Stroke is one of the leading causes of disability in the UK. NHS services provide essential acute and rehabilitation care, but many survivors face a difficult gap between leaving clinical settings and regaining confidence in daily life, a challenge that is even greater for those in rural areas or with limited mobility. ReNeu was built to fill that gap: structured, evidence-informed, accessible, and scalable.
ReNeu was developed with the Integrated Community Stroke Service at Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, reflecting a shared commitment to ensuring the transition from clinical care to community life is supported, not left to chance. For the NHS, it offers a clinically aligned extension of post-diagnosis care without additional pressure on frontline services. For iCareiMove, it represents a proven model with genuine potential for wider rollout.
“The weeks following a stroke diagnosis can feel overwhelming for patients and their families. ReNeu offers something genuinely valuable; structured, safe, and human-centred support that works alongside our clinical pathways. We are delighted to have been part of creating it.”
-Amanda Hulbert, Manager, Integrated Community Stroke Service, Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust
ReNeu is open to anyone recently diagnosed with stroke. Self-referral is supported, and NHS professionals are encouraged to share it as part of their wider recovery pathway. Commissioners, care systems, and community organisations are invited to make contact.
